To all our customers:
Earlier today, our phone services experienced an outage as a result of a denial of service attack from external sources. Once we identified the attack point, we quickly disabled it. Systems returned to normal status shortly thereafter. However, this was followed by a second disruption to service that occurred when our systems attempted to recover and an unexpected bug prevented a full recovery from happening. This bug was also identified and corrected as quickly as possible. At this time, all systems are performing as expected, and we are continuing to monitor them closely. We have invested heavily in protecting our network and know we have a strong and reliable service and view this incident as an isolated one.
